Adventure Activities

Today we went to Ellensburg High School in the field house for some adventure activities. These 4 hours was so much fun for so many reasons. We did some team building exercises that made us gain trust in each member of the group. Also we had to get across the “Mohawk Walk” as a team which was not easy at all but we were able to accomplish it with exceptional teamwork. Then we played the island game which required us to get a rope hanging in the middle of a “lava” field without touching the lava and swinging to a small “island.” We got the rope by making a lasso out of our shoes and somehow we got all 12 people on the island without anyone falling in the lava. We were so packed on the island it was an amazing show of teamwork and strategy. Then we learned how to put harnesses on and we climbed the rope ladder and the “caterpillar.” A special thank you today goes to Mr. Hagbo for taking time out to make this day the best possible experience for us.
